Boils

A boil is a red, swollen, painful area on the skin similar to an overgrown pimple. Boils occur most often in areas where there is hair and irritation, such as on the neck, armpits, genitals, breasts, face, and buttocks. Looking a lot like cystic acne, boils do not need a hair follicle to sebaceous gland to penetrate the skin. This becomes a perfect place for bacteria and viruses to grow because body fluids become trapped in one particular place creating a pustule. The pus inside a boil is the result of white blood cells that came to clear away the infection and tissue that has been destroyed. Pain is caused by the pressure on the nerve endings due to the swelling.

Prevention

Do not scratch a boil you already have. You might carry the bacteria to healthy areas of the skin, resulting in more skin infections.

Home Treatment

Apply Silver Sol gel topically one to four times a day. In some cases, applying the Silver Sol gel directly to a bandage and then placing on affected area is the better alternative. In addition to applying the Silver Sol gel, drink two teaspoons of Silver Sol liquid twice a day.

Do not squeeze, scratch, drain or lance a boil.

As soon as the Silver Sol liquid and the Silver Sol gel come in contact with the bacteria, the boil growth will stop. You can expect to feel inflammation reduction in about two hours and improvement of the boil(s) in about four hours.
